Peoria Heights Tower Park.

During the Balloon Fest on Friday night, we realized that Addie needed her own chair. This one is a kid's backpack chair and even has a pocket for her stuff (Wal-Mart if anyone is interested). We thought it would just pull her over, but she insisted on wearing it!

Daddy and Addie are "playing" chess. Kurt set up the board and explained the rules to Addie. She would knod her head and say "yeah" in understanding. She paid close attention and even made a few moves with the pieces! Brilliant child (not that we're partial)!!

A day at the Ball Park. We had a Cullinan Properties company outing today. It was very hot!! Check out those cheeks! Yes, she was caked in sunscreen. The poor dear, no matter what in the heat, she just gets flush and red all over!

Chatter Box City

Adeline has become such the chatter box. It is so cute to hear her little voice and use words to ask for something, show us something, name people (Grandmas and Grandpas of course eat this up as well) or even whine about something (hard to believe I know). She has such manners too; please, thank you, bless you. We'll take it while we can! Addie loves to sing A-B-C's, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle and more. Check out a few of the most recent photo shots. She'll be 2 in 6 weeks. The time has flown by. We have loved every minute and look forward to more adventures.
